Hi all, I'm renting the upstairs apartment in my historic 1920s mill house at 735 Florida Avenue between Wall and Bond in the heart of Old Bend. There are so many things to love about living here, but the best is that you're right between the Old Mill and Downtown. You can walk anywhere and getting out to hear music or go to dinner or go for a run on the river trail is so easy, it's just all right there. OSU-Cascades is super close, as well if you're a student. The apartment itself is really wonderful, too. It's a true one-bedroom, not a studio. Has a kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom with clawfoot bathtub. About 650 square feet in all. There's a giant skylight in the center of the apartment that makes it very light and bright. I recently updated the entire house and apartment, including new carpet, new interior and exterior paint, new roof, new windows, new blinds, new lighting fixtures, new tile and caulking and grouting galore. It's really clean and nice. Other important information: -- No property management company here, just me, a wife and mom of four kids who's been in Bend since 2004. -- There is an apartment in the downstairs of the home, which is currently rented by an incredible group of roommates--really wonderful people. --You have your own shed to put your stuff at the back of the house --You have your own off-street parking spot --You have the entire front yard and porch of the house for your use only. The downstairs folks get the back. --I pay for water/sewer/garbage --Dogs and/or cats allowed with $250 non-refundable deposit per animal. --Six-month minimum lease required, with first, last and deposit ($1,500) required when we sign the lease. We'll do a free application and will need to see proof of income, references, and credit report The best fit for this home is probably a single person or a couple with one animal who want to be close to Bend fun. Will note here that the apartment is a walk-up and doesn't have a washer/dryer or a dishwasher so ability to manage that is a consideration.
