It’s a great lake getaway in beautiful Southern Illinois. The souther portion of the lake borders Shawnee National Forest. Resort is very family/pet friendly. Great boating with many other things to do such as the Southern IL wine trail, hiking at Ferne Clyffe and Giant City state parks 20-30 minutes away in addition to the Tunnel Hill bike trail nearby. Marion IL is 20 minutes away which provides shopping and plenty of dining options.
