It is close to many bus routes, is populated with good neighbors, many of whom have been here for years, and close to nice shops like Third Place Books. It's an easy bike ride to the UW. Families with children living in this neighborhood have many choices for good quality public schools. Within the neighborhood, children attend Wedgwood, Sacajewa, Thornton Creek at Decatur, and Lowell elementary schools, Eckstein or Salmon Bay Middle Schools, and Roosevelt or Nathan Hale High Schools.
