Need a good book - check the 2nd floor laundry room's community library. The condo fees reflect the continuing care of the building - they are intently focused on getting deferred maintenance up to date and providing aesthetic upgrades to best meet the communities' needs - recent upgrades include a new elevator, updated lobby furniture, rebuilt balconies, and the current project to update the front exterior facade. The unit inside has been well maintained and has a brand new HVAC system just installed (with Croppe Metcalfe warranty!), fresh paint and newer hardwood flooring. Very pet friendly building, with easy parking - the lot is rental only, and a space permit is $20/car. Visitor parking is in the back lot (and free!) and delivery parking is at the front entrance. Nearby, you're walking distance to the Takoma Library & Community Center, the Bodega is on the corner, and a short bike distance away from the Co-Op Grocery, Downtown Takoma and the Takoma Metro (everything is about a mile away).
