The total monthly electricity cost must not exceed $120 during November, December, January, February, March, and April. If the bill exceeds this amount, the excess will be charged to the guest home tenant. For the months of May, June, July, August, September, and October, the bill must not exceed $50. Any usage beyond this limit will also be charged to the guest home tenant. This prorated billing system works because the main home covers the larger portion of the cost. As long as the guest home tenant manages their electricity usage responsibly, this arrangement remains fair and effective.
