As you pedal past Beverly Hospital on the Rio Hondo Bike path, you start to think about Monday's commute. You either take the metro link located a few blocks to the north west or take the 5,60, or 605 freeway, which are about a five minute drive. You reach the corner, turn into your home and leave your bike on the front porch, removing your shoes so that the insulated tile floor doesn't scratch. You then start to boil water on the stove top for morning tea. As your water boils, you exit out of the kitchen to your private covered patio area to read the Sunday newspaper. You decide to check your garden. In particular, your fruit trees. With your home being a corner lot, your backyard is exposed to the South-facing sunlight to help keep your pride of joy flourishing green.
