    Peaceful ranch on just over an acre. It is zoned A-1 allowing up to 20 chickens. We had chickens while here and loved the fresh eggs. It has a master-bedroom with connected bathroom and two closets. Upstairs also has two additional rooms, a full bath and half bath off the entryway. Downstairs is a bonus room with a fireplace and bedroom to code (closet and two exits). The kitchen has granite countertops and a large island with updated sink. There is plenty of storage with a two-car garage, bonus insulated storage room accessible from outside, a connecting three-seasons room, and a backyard storage shed. The house and garage recently had blown-in insulation added for additional savings on utilities. We just had the driveway expanded and repaved. This is lovely older home with lots of modern updates, ready for your family to move in the 1st of June. We are offering a 1-year lease. It is only a few minutes from the Manasass Park VRE station, which provides an easy commute to Alexandria, Crystal City, and Union Station...all with Metro stops for easily getting around the Nation Capital Region. Renter is responsible for utilities and lawn care. We are leaving a new washer and dryer on the main floor. Renters are welcome to where it is or move it to the downstairs hook-up. The units will stay with house, but the owners are not responsible for repairs needed to the washer and dryer. There is a 150 gallon propane tank for the fireplaces, which renters are welcome to use. However the tank should be refilled when the remaining amount is between 5-20%. Additional propane is the responsibility of the renters to schedule and purchase. No smoking indoors. Renters are welcome to paint the walls (but not the fireplace brick). However, doors and trim must remain white. Renters are welcome to have 4 or fewer cats and small dogs. Larger dogs may be accepted by exception. Chickens (county max of 20) and honey bees are welcome! There is no pet fee for chickens. Renters are responsible for changing the HVAC filter every three months.
