The Petworth public library and recreation center are also very close. The building sits directly across from a small park on a tree-lined street with ample parking. The condo faces south and its big windows let a lot of light into the space-- the plants love it. Secure building and nice neighbors. Cats and dogs allowed. No-smoking. Condo features granite counters, stainless steel fridge/gas stove/dishwasher, bamboo floors, washer and dryer in the unit, and central A/C. Lots of counter space for cooking and two very generous closets (one in the bedroom and one in the hallway) to store things. Fantastic open layout makes the place seem very big. 621 square feet. Hot water is included in the rental price. The unit can be available furnished or unfurnished. Available Feb 1. This was my beloved home for my first years in DC, and I'm happy to share it with a great renter! I live locally and am quick to respond to maintenance requests or other issues.
