This is our dream home and we will be sad to see her go. We hope her next family loves her as much as we have. If you are looking for something a little different, unique, character of its own, this ole' girl might be made for your family too. She was built in the 80's, before homes were built in 6 weeks with tooth pics and glue. This home is made to last, with true 2" x 6" exterior studs and 4" x 8" cedar beams. Those strong bones are finished off with a beautiful earth stone, and cedar trim, which set it off perfectly under the 50 year old pines and oaks. I would say that it reminds me of a mountain side home. You can enjoy the view from your living area with a 180 degree view of the property. No joke, monster panes of glass on three walls allow ample light in the room and bring you right up against nature. All three bed rooms in this home are very large and spacious and all provide walk in closets. The master bedroom has a his and hers closet with a master bath so big we have a couch and sitting area in the bathroom. The upstairs bed rooms are large enough to be split in two to make 4 upstairs bedrooms. They share a Jack and Jill bath room and have their own private balcony overlooking the pool and 4 acre property. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room and features a brick floor that reminds me of a pizzeria. It very rustic, warm, and never looks dirty. We love low maintenance and renovated all our down stairs floors to stained concrete. If you have never seen stained concrete floors you will love the look in this house. As beautiful as this house is we spend a great deal of our time outdoors when we are home. The property is just gorgeous. A lot of work has gone into clearing and cleaning underbrush so that you can enjoy all the views. During the spring and summer we spend all of our time around the pool and grilling deck. Imagine stone pool deck, large wooden deck with 50 year old oak growing through, out door fire place, covered out door kitchen, surrounded by giant bamboo waving in the wind. It is so neat that a scene from a independent film was shot here. Beyond the "entertainment area" is the work shop and office for all your work and toys. The shop is around 1,500 sq ft. with roll up doors, ventilation, and air conditioned. There is an office attached to the shop, suitable for any at home business, or hobby. I hate to see her go, but she is yours if your want her. Please forgive us if we get emotional.
