I am looking for someone to take over my half of the lease of a cozy two-bedroom, one-bath house. It's located on a quiet and pleasant side street in the Elm Heights neighborhood, close to the south side of campus and the north side of Bryan Park. The house comes with a washer and dryer, HVAC, a backyard with a herb and vegetable garden, and on-street permit parking. The itself is spacious and can fit a full sized bed, corner desk, bookshelf and dresser. It also features a large closet with sliding doors.
Pets are allowed at this property but would prefer to keep it to one cat under this sublet. No smoking/vaping is allowed on the premises as well.
The place will be UNFURNISHED - photos are for context only.
The room will be available starting August 24, 2025, and the lease will end on July 31, 2026, with the option to renew. The rent is $775 per month (August will be prorated), plus half of the utilities (electric, gas, water/sewer, and internet). The first, last, and security deposit will be required. Also, an application will need to be completed with Choice Realty ($40) for a background and credit check.
Sublet is available through 7/31/26 with option to sign a new lease in October.
Utilities run about $150-200 per month.
No smoking on premises.
This is a pet friendly place but a single cat will be considered for this sublet but will require a non-refundable pet fee through Choice Realty.
Application fee will be required by Choice Realty.

I'm a graduate student interested in art, architecture, sustainability, and Dropout. I enjoy reading and knitting. I prefer a quiet roommate during the night since I'll likely study from home. Cleaning responsibilities will be split equally.
