It takes 4 min to walk to the UMD bus line (ShuttleTrack) #108, 10 min to walk to the bus lines line #101, #102, #106, and #107, and 25 min to walk to the center of the university. Check for ShuttleTrack roads at www.transportation.umd.edu  The house is equipped with high-speed wireless internet and cable and satellite TV. There is a large enclosed backyard with a shed for storage. The house has a laundry room with washer/dryer and a table suitable for an ironing board. The kitchen has all of the standard appliances (oven, stove, microwave, new refrigerator, new dishwasher). The spacious living room is perfect for entertaining guests or hanging out with your new roommates. The carpet was replaced last summer throughout the house.  The house usually has a mix of males and females graduate students and a nice and calm working / student environment is promoted. The rent is $420 to $480 / month depending on which room. The landlord has been renting individually to each tenant but would consider renting the whole house on a single lease to a group of 5 tenants at once if necessary. One month's security deposit is required when signing the lease and is refundable at move-out. The first month's rent is due at move-in.
