Are you ready for the unique lake home you did not know you wanted? This is the small side of a historical church that has been turned into a furnished duplex; just a short walk away from Clear Lake and the beautiful town center of Lakeport, California! With about a 15 minute walk you can explore restaurants, cafes, bars, thrift shops, parks, and the community theater. There are several public boat launches and you can pick up your boat or jet ski rental right next to Library Park. Your home is part of a church that was built in 1970 and hosted congregations through the 2010s. This is where the offices, nursery, and the church's newer kitchen and laundry room were. Four of those rooms were turned into bedrooms, one has been turned into a game room, and showers were added to the two existing bathrooms. Updates have been made as needed but this building still retains most of it's historic charms. You'll find original cabinetry, carpet, appliances, paint, woodwork, furniture, etc., but the age of the church will call for things being updated so please don't be surprised if a newer version has taken the place of something in the photos. This side can sleep up to 10 people and you can get to the following without having to use any stairs: ~Bedroom 1: 1 California King and 1 King (has a door to the outside that stays locked at all times) ~Bedroom 2: 1 King bed. 1 Roku TV ~Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed ~Bedroom 4: 1 Full Bed (has a door to the outside that stays locked at all times) ~Kitchen ~Dining/living room with a Roku TV, and a workspace ~Laundry room ~Full Bathroom 2 with shower ~Game Room including: -Dart Board -Lounging area -4 person card/poker table -Poker set -Mahjong set -Mini air hockey table -Board Games There is one set of stairs that leads down to Full Bathroom 3 with a shower. Outside you have several parking spots in the fenced in lot. Guests staying in the main church part of the duplex are allowed to use the fenced in lot as well if they do not want to use the 4 parking spots in front of the sanctuary. There is also a charger for electric vehicles on the right of the main doors. Please do not park on the street as a concern of the neighborhood was that guest cars would take up all ready limited street parking. We have gone through and locked any doors we think should not be accessible for you and your guests safety. There is also a locked shed in the Side A parking lot holding boring things like paint.
