If you are looking for your own land to farm or hunt, there is no need to look any further. For decades this land has been farmed and hunted. It is surrounded by land owned by Delaware Wildlands. It cannot be built on because it is in a flood zone, unless the new owner would like to go through the process of petitioning FEMA to remove it from the flood map. It has never flooded, and we have feasibility studies showing it will perk in three places at least, but until it's removed from the FEMA map, it will be very difficult to convince the county to allow it to be built upon or subdivided.
