It includes about 1/2 of the ravine, which is the beginning of Blacksmith Creek that runs to the Kansas river. If you drive west on I-70 from Auburn Rd about 1 mile, you cross Blacksmith Creek before it gets to the Kansas river. This land is one of the most beautiful secluded areas in Shawnee County. Located on a paved road to the driveway. Includes a 2 acre pond that is stocked. Plenty of wildlife, deer, turkey, etc. Only sound you will hear is a golfer once in a while that curses before he throws his club. This is now divided in a 4.5 acre and a 25,5 acre lot. This could be a beautiful place to have your own playground, walk in the ravine and explore this untouched area that is on the east side of the property. On the west side is the Prairie View Golf Course, with a 3/8 mile frontage. On the North side of the property is another ravine. On the south side, is where the Large Pond is located. You will never have any future intrusion into your privacy due to the boundaries of ravines, golf course, and pond bordering the property. You will be amazed at all the stars you can see at night, and the quiet in this secluded area, with wild life creating their music day and night. I regret having to sell this as we were going to build our dream home there, but times and priorities have changed, so we are offering it for sale by owner. The water and underground electric are at the edge of the property, including a fire hydrant maybe 500 ft away. If you are looking for a very secluded building site where you can have some horses, there is not a nicer piece of vacant land in Shawnee County. If you decided to put in a development, the lots would sell quickly. IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN BUILDING ON PRIVATE ACREAGE NEAR TOPEKA, YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THIS AS AN OPTION.
