About the House: When you walk into this welcoming home from the street level you'll find yourself on the third floor surrounded by a collection of happy plants in the spacious living room. This top floor contains the kitchen/living/dining/laundry common areas and a half bathroom. The first thing you'll notice is the stunning ocean and tree views through the large view windows and sliding glass door. Step through the sliding glass door and you'll find yourself on a large balcony overlooking the spacious backyard with expansive views of the Monterey Bay. Enjoy the back yard with a plum tree, and a lemon tree, and a 5 person hot tub. About Us: This happy 4 bedroom home is shared with clean & tidy occupants. We are an empowered surf-loving massage therapist woman in their late 20s who likes to cook vegan food, a jovial music loving handy landscape designer in his early 40's, a bright conversational software engineer in his late 20's. The easy going musical software engineer landlord in his mid 40's travels frequently, and parks his camper van in the driveway when in town. We are working professionals working mostly outside of the house. While we respect each other's space, we also enjoy coming together for the occasional house dinner, art night, jam session, or friends & family potluck. We enjoy music, art, concerts, yoga, sound healing, yummy food - and surrounding ourselves with positive and heart-centered people... Does your vibe resonate with our vibe? We share house cleaning chores on a rotation. This is an always-clean-up-after-yourself-right-away environment. If you like to leave piles of dishes, crumbs, clothes, or clutter for others to deal with then this won't be the right fit. About the Room: A beautiful room is available on the middle floor of our three story home. The room has light paint and laminate flooring, overhead lighting, a closet with mirrored doors, and venitian mini-blinds. The bedroom comes unfurnished (but basic furnishings can be provided for a short term renter). The bathroom with bathtub/shower is accessed through the adjacent hallway, and is shared with other housemates. About the Area: The home is in a safe and scenic neighborhood that is great for walking/jogging/biking. Conveniently located above the golf course in Rio Del Mar, the home is just a couple minute drive from Highway 1 off the Rio Del Mar exit and has easy access to Deerpark shopping center and nearby beaches. Rental terms: Rent is $1300/month and does not include utilities. Deposit required. Lease term can be month-to-month or longer.
