This is a unique housing layout. The home is a 5-bedroom house that has been split into a duplex, with a main entrance and two separate, locking interior doors that lead to the upper and lower units. There is also a basement unit with its own private entrance and washer/dryer (completely separate from the main house).
The available space is the upper unit, which includes:

Up to 4 occupants *preferably not 4 adults, but willing to have a conversation about it as all families are different and unique.

Backyard is shared we have garden beds, and the basement tenant does as well. If you enjoy gardening, we're happy to add an additional garden bed for you.
Heating system is in the upper unit, so we coordinate heating use together in colder months.

Parking
Street parking is available; there is a spot directly in front of the house that would be yours, and the neighbors are pretty chill about where we park, but I would go over that with you because it is technically an HOA and certain neighbors get upset if we park in front of their homes. A driveway spot may be negotiable.
Seasonal Landscaping:
Spring landscaping fee: $200 flat (negotiable- if you're willing to help with landscaping)
Pets:
Allowed with landlord approval
$500 deposit per pet
Ideally no more than 2 pets
Pets should not bark when not home. *we have two dogs, and they occasionally bark as all dogs do, but dogs with separation anxiety who bark when you're not home for multiple hours would not be allowed. One of our dogs has epilepsy, and after a seizure event, he usually becomes very barking for 1-2 days after the event and will bark when we're not home. We are not unreasonable with barking levels, but looking for communication and consideration*
