The home is a 5-bedroom house that has been split into a duplex, with a main entrance and two separate, locking interior doors that lead to the upper and lower units. There is also a basement unit with its own private entrance and washer/dryer (completely separate from the main house). The available space is the upper unit, which includes: 3 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms Full kitchen Spacious living room Covered outdoor patio Rent & Occupancy: Rent: $2,185/month 11 month lease Up to 4 occupants *preferably not 4 adults, but willing to have a conversation about it as all families are different and unique. $1,500 security deposit Move-in requirements: Proof of income/employment Proof of on-time rent payments Credit score verification Background check Shared spaces & logistics: Laundry is in the garage and shared with the lower unit (my fiance and me) Current schedule: Upper unit: Sunday Tuesday Lower unit: Thursday Saturday Wednesday: Open day (Schedule can be adjusted if needed) Backyard is shared we have garden beds, and the basement tenant does as well. If you enjoy gardening, we're happy to add an additional garden bed for you. Heating system is in the upper unit, so we coordinate heating use together in colder months. Garage & Storage Garage space negotiable (stuff like tools, motorcycle, bikes, outdoor or sports, etc.) Parking Street parking is available; there is a spot directly in front of the house that would be yours, and the neighbors are pretty chill about where we park, but I would go over that with you because it is technically an HOA and certain neighbors get upset if we park in front of their homes. A driveway spot may be negotiable. Seasonal Landscaping: Spring landscaping fee: $200 flat (negotiable- if you're willing to help with landscaping) Pets: Allowed with landlord approval $500 deposit per pet Ideally no more than 2 pets Pets should not bark when not home. *we have two dogs, and they occasionally bark as all dogs do, but dogs with separation anxiety who bark when you're not home for multiple hours would not be allowed. One of our dogs has epilepsy, and after a seizure event, he usually becomes very barking for 1-2 days after the event and will bark when we're not home. We are not unreasonable with barking levels, but looking for communication and consideration* Utilities (shared) Typical costs (split among however many tenants, these below prices are totals based on 5 people, internet would remain the same). Internet: $50/month Electric: $260 $360/month Garbage: $165 every 3 months Water: $340 $415 every 2 months 5 minutes away from 405. Grocery store 5 minutes away. Small business within walking distance (restaurants, bar, gas station, and Asian market) Move in date is flexible, current tenants are moving out of town, rent will be prorated during the month of Feb. flexible move in date. $500 deposit, which will contribute to your move in deposit to hold the apartment after we meet and discuss. You will be interviewing with both myself, my fiancee, and our basement tenant to make sure you are a good fit for our home. We value our privacy, but also value honesty and communication.
