The unit has a private yard, private storage shed, and driveway parking. Separate from the main house. Kitchenette and private laundry...perfect for a single quiet person who wants the feel of a house without having to purchase one. Huge park across the street, 1/2 mile from the trails and stables at Palmer Park, 5-10 minutes to UCCS, 10-15 minutes to downtown. There is a two-burner hot plate, a large countertop oven (this can be replaced with a smaller one if you prefer), microwave, and a good-size refrigerator. There's also a full-size sink with disposal. If you're REALLY into cooking then this may not work for you, but if you're ok with salads, pasta, small casseroles, crock pot dishes, simple things to cook, then the privacy, yard, storage, location, etc may be worth the sacrifice. :-) This is a very large room which could easily have a bookcase or curtain or something else that creates separation if you would like a true "bedroom". This room does have a closet. Owner's space is mostly on the other side of the home and is rarely upstairs above the basement so the basement is very quiet. Unit is best for only 1 person. Dogs under 25 pounds welcome (no aggressive breeds or aggressive breed mixes) I have a small dog who is nervous around big dogs...even their bark (and so am I tbh, so no exception on this since we live under the same roof) Thanks for understanding. I rarely have people over, and if I do it's one friend at a time, and they're super quiet too.
