Welcome to Indian Mountain Lodge, a home with a million-dollar view! Owners are open to leasing this spectacular property for the right tenant who loves all that Colorado mountain-life has to offer and will treat the home with care. Indian Mountain Lodge sits atop a nearly 3-acre property of pines, aspens, and rock outcroppings. Nature abounds with common wildlife sightings and star-gazing that can't be beat. There is approximately 1000 additional square feet of outdoor Trex and wood decking with absolutely spectacular mountain views! Tenants will enjoy a recently remodeled and beautifully appointed home with excellent Starlink WIFI. It has three fully furnished floors (although we're able to rent it unfurnished as well) that include a walkout basement (with bedroom/bath), main floor with master bedroom, kitchen/dining, living room, utility room, two full bathrooms, and finally a loft bedroom. A chef's delight- the fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless appliances. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a living room with smart T.V. and an amazingly comfortable leather pullout/recliner couch, a walkout basement with den with an additional T.V., a lovely pool table, and a half bath. Indian Mountain Lodge has excellent rental ratings (see reviews in photos) and is the perfect place to cozy up by either the wood burning stove or the pellet stove, or just let the furnace do its thing! You can soak in the tub and watch the hummingbirds or icicles form (depending upon the season)! Enjoy nearby opportunities to hike/snowshoe/cross-country ski, sled, fish, camp, kayak, canoe, paddle board, waterski, climb 14'ers, horseback ride, ATV, or just explore the Colorado countryside! Tarryall Reservoir's 20 min. away and the historic mining town of Fairplay is 35 min. out with restaurants and a grocery store. If you love a mountain drive as we do, Breckenridge is an hr. + out with amazing restaurants, skiing, tubing, ice-skating, golfing, and shopping, or head south to Buena Vista for awesome white water rafting, breakfasts, and those amazing Collegiate Mountains! We love visiting so many mountain towns such as Keystone, Silverthorne, Georgetown, Salida (1.5 hrs.), or The Royal Gorge, Vail, or Garden of The Gods (each about an hr. and 40 min. away). The house being nestled on the mountain's northeast side provides for a less breezy experience, making dinner on the deck more enjoyable and WiFi fully reliable! The outdoor patio furniture and seating around the fire pit add the to the awesome outdoor-experience. Indian Mountain can, at times, get a lot of snow and our driveway (although wrap around and well maintained) is steep. Therefore, it's necessary to own an all-wheel drive vehicle. The road to the driveway is a county road and therefore regularly plowed. Surround yourself with the peace that comes from this magical place and make memories that will last a lifetime! Owner pays for water and POA fee. Tenant pays for propane, electric, internet, and if desired trash. Up to three pets permitted with monthly $40 pet fee and signed addendum to lease. Our plow guy is $90 to plow the driveway and we average doing that 3x per year. No smoking inside of the house. The lease covers the entire property and the house comes fully furnished (although arrangements for partial or unfurnished can be made) . Tenants have access to a shed on the property. The first half of the security deposit is due on the date of lease signing and the second half is due upon move-in with the first month's rent and any pet rent (if applicable).
