The Knight Tract is conveniently located ~4 miles SE of Harleyville, ~7 miles NW of Ridgeville, and ~5 miles from both Exits 177 & 187 on I-26. With 273± GIS acres, this property has many possibilities. Paved road frontage along HWY 178 adds value to this tract. Additional access is found via Squirrel Ln (paved) and Virginia Rd (dirt via easement). Merchantable pine, merchantable upland pine/hardwood mix, pine hardwood re-gen, and hardwood along the edges of Coldwater & Walnut Branches provide timber diversity. The confluence of Coldwater Branch & Walnut Branch occurs within the boundaries of the Knight tract, creating some ecological significance. An old mill pond damn (broken) adds a unique feature. Topography along the eastern side of Coldwater Branch affords an uncommon element in the Lowcountry. With its diversity in timber and land types, Whitetail Deer, wild turkeys, waterfowl, and other types of wildlife utilize the Knight tract.
