Our newly-refurbished 1-bedroom private suite with A/C is tucked away in a quiet residential valley in the Diamond Head area of Honolulu. If you prefer to escape the noisy crowds of Waikiki Beach, yet just be 15-20 minutes away from its action & activities, our cozy & well-appointed suite may be the place for you. Suite Gardenia has its own private & separate entrance, with ideal street parking right in front of our home. Bright, airy & thoughtfully furnished, we hope that you enjoy this warm abode. Upon arrival at our place, there are 9 concrete steps leading from street level up to the entrance of your cozy suite. Please keep this in mind for accessibility. Unlike many other options in the area, our guest suite was designed specifically for comfort & convenience. We provide a brand new split type A/C and your own private full-size washer & dryer. Most lights are on dimmers so that you can set the mood, day or night, and there are also blackout shades to help darken the rooms for daytime naps or sleeping-in. The bed is queen-sized and located in a separate alcove area within the suite. In the entrance area, there is a new sofa and internet-enabled flat-screen TV just like one would find at a hotel. Log in to your favorite streaming apps and enjoy your shows and music. The bathroom features a vanity with vessel sink, rain shower, and a full sized washer/dryer for your convenience. In the kitchenette, you are may use the microwave, toaster-oven, coffee maker induction cooker and the refrigerator for your light meals. The spacious and deep sink has a garbage disposal added to it as well. Basic cutlery, dishes, glasses and mugs are provided. We love the feel of crisp linens, and fluffy pillows to return to after a long day, and we have kitted out the queen bed accordingly. There is a large wardrobe and two chest of drawers so that you don't have to "live out of a suitcase", as well as space to keep your luggage out of the way. There are also multiple outlets that feature USB ports to keep all your devices charged-up. Minimum 3 month rental, longer lease periods available. Utilities (wifi, power and water) are included, and there is an internet-ready TV for app-based content -no cable tv- and the unit is furnished. As mentioned in the description, it is well-appointed and has been a guest suite for visiting family and friends, so it is always kept in great condition. There is a split-type AC, no forced-air heater, and no off-street or garage parking. The private unit is a separate-entry located in a non-smoking and no pets home. Minimum lease is 3 months, but longer leases are available.
