This 1910 farmhouse is UNRENOVATED and has one bathroom. The water comes from a well and the sewage is a septic tank. The septic system was just pumped and filter changed last month. There are two bedrooms, one up, one down, both are quite small.
Like a lot of old farmhouses this house has been built on over the years and there are now a sun room, a laundry room (with a washer and dryer), an entrance area and a greenhouse attached. There is also a dirt-floor basement good for storing paint or canned goods.
This house is 4 miles East of Wheeler and 6 miles West of Colfax, 14 miles NE of Menomonie.
Tenant is responsible for mowing the yard, and for changing the filter in the propane forced-air furnace. The furnace was just checked and the filter changed last week.
Tenant has free access to the house but not the barn: my Dad has a little apartment there where he likes to spend the summers. So you will see his car coming and going and see him puttering around the garden.
We welcome horses (you must have insurance for them) and other animals! You will need to supply them a shelter, but there is some fencing on the property.
