This 3Br2Ba house is very spacious with high ceilings, multiple common rooms, a garage/basement, and huge backyard. Parking is extremely easy on this street. You can almost always find a parking spot right in front of the house. At worst you'd have to park half a block away. Your room: Huge room 136 sq ft (10' x 13.5'), with two large closets (4'1" x 5'8", and a mini kitchenette/closet with its own sink, 5'8" x 6'0"). The bedroom has its own private entrance, and shares a bathroom. Room has its own gas in-wall heater. Room is secluded from the rest of the house and pretty quiet, very private. Rent is $1,275 a month + your share of the utilities + $60 a month towards a house cleaner. House cleaner comes every 3 weeks. Room comes unfurnished (A has not moved out yet), but all the furniture is for sale: dressers, shoe racks, bed + mattress (California King), etc. (everything but the desk) Kitchen: Recently updated, gas stove, microwave, large fridge, disposal, dishwasher, tall cabinets, new appliances. I regularly share my meals and baking with roommates (when I'm not relying on takeout!) Our current roommate, (A), is moving out around January 15th. We need somebody to replace him around this time. We are somewhat flexible on timeframe. Your room will come unfurnished (unless you want to purchase any of their current furniture). The rest of the house is already furnished. You are ideally in your mid/late 20s- early 30s, and share similar interests. I have friends over sometimes, and don't mind social gatherings, but this isn't a UCB house. The vibe is a laid-back atmosphere, dinners/meals sharing, cleanness, and chill without being hyper-sensitive to noise. I'm pretty clean, and have a Roomba for the floors, but am chill about it. Rent is $1,275 a month + your share of the utilities. First + last months, and a security deposit are required. No short-term, looking for a 1-year lease (or longer). The rental company will also require you pass a credit check. No couples. We have an aquarium with a tiny pet frog and shrimp, no other pets live here currently. Sorry, no dogs/cats, due to an allergy. The entire house will be professionally cleaned at the time of A's move-out.
