Getting around There are several transportation choices in Philadelphia, such as the Snyder station, which is conveniently situated just 0.6 miles from the property. If you're headed to Philadelphia International Airport, it's a short 6.8-mile or 16-minute journey. For those traveling to New Castle County, it's about 33.6 miles or 49 minutes away. Neighborhood description If you're drawn to Philadelphia by the allure of cheesesteaks and sports, you'll want to explore the South Philadelphia West neighborhood. Situated at the southeastern edge, this area is adjacent to the Wells Fargo Center and the Lincoln Financial Field, which are the homes of the Flyers and Phillies, respectively. Nestled south of Moore Street, between the bustling Broad Street and the Schuylkill River, this district boasts a variety of tightly packed urban shopping districts and a serene riverfront sanctuary, all just minutes away from Center City. South Philly West is enclosed by Interstate 76 and 95, encompassing numerous neighborhoods and popular entertainment hubs. You'll find something to suit every taste here, whether you're looking for the urban conveniences of Melrose and South Philly or the green expanse of FDR Park and the proximity of Philadelphia International Airport. Our house rules are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests staying at our property. Please take a moment to review them carefully, as failure to comply with any of the rules can result in a violation charge. Check-In/Out: Check-In or Application Form: Guests are required to complete a check-in form and submit a copy of their ID, failure to do so will result in access to the accommodation being revoked. Check-In Time: Check-in time is from 5PM - 10PM, and failure to check-in at this time will result in an additional charge of $150.00 on weekdays and $175.00 for weekends. Renter's Insurance or Airbnb Insurance: Insurance is required in order to check into a home. Guests can either choose to book via Airbnb which includes insurance or they can choose to get their own insurance and provide a copy to us prior to checking in. Biometric Door Code: Guests are required to register their biometrics upon checking in to ensure that only guests with reservations have access to the property outside of customer support hours. Door Access: Access to the reservation is set up on the day of check-in. It expires promptly at the designated check-out time. 15-Day Notice Period: All guests must provide a 15-day notice period as mandated. In the event of an immediate move-out, the guest is still responsible for the 15-day period starting from the day the notice is given. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. Reservation Guests, Overnight Guests and Day Guests: Pre-Approval for All Guests: All guests over the age of 18, including reservation guests, overnight guests, and day guests, must be pre-approved by the host to avoid penalties for violations. Prior to accessing the premises, day guests must complete our check-in form, and all individuals entering the home must present a valid identification. Reservation Guests: Those who have applied to live in the space with you and are subject to a $100/month charge for double occupancy. Overnight Guests: Friends you invite over, must use the check-in form to check-in and pay a nightly charge of $25. Day Guests: Allowed on the property between 10am and 10pm and are not subject to any charges. Day guests are not allowed to be at the property without someone on the reservation. Mail & Packages: No Mail or Package Delivery: Guests are not allowed to have packages or mail delivered to the property unless prior written approval is obtained from the host. If approved, guests must be present to receive the package during their stay. Mail can be sent to a PO box and packages can be picked up at local delivery locations. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are enforced after 10 pm on weekdays and 12 am on weekends. No loud music or noise is allowed in the suite or the common areas, especially during quiet hours. Any violation of this rule will result in a warning and a fine of $50 for each subsequent offense. Paid Extra Services: Guests must inform the host and staff of any paid extra services. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of services. Damage and Theft: Valuable Artwork: Valuable art pieces from local artists decorate the accommodation, and guests are strictly prohibited from touching or damaging them. Any missing or damaged art will result in a charge of double the value of the art piece. Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their visitors to the suite or the common areas. Any damages will be charged to the guest. Lost Keys: Any lost key cards will result in a replacement fee of $50. Missing/Stolen Items: Guests are not allowed to take any items from the guest suite with them at check-out, and missing items will be charged appropriately. No Misuse of Appliances: Misuse or tampering with any of the appliances, including the thermostat, dishwasher, or washer and dryers are strictly prohibited. Any damages resulting from tampering will be charged to the guest. Cleaning: No Trash Left Behind: Trash and littering are prohibited in all common areas including but not limited to backyards, rooftops, etc, a $250 fine will be charged if found doing so. Common Area Cleaning: Guests are required to maintain cleanliness and tidiness in both the suite and common areas throughout their stay. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of $37 per guest. In cases where it is not possible to identify the responsible party for excessive cleaning of the common areas, each guests in the accommodation will be charged the $37 violation fee. Common Area Cleaning: In the event of being charged three or more times for failure to maintain cleanliness, access to the common areas will be revoked. We value a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests, and repeated violations undermine this commitment. Clean Suite: Guests must keep the suite clean and free of food that is not actively being consumed during their stay. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of $50. Deep Cleaning Charge: Guests will be charged a $37/hour fee for any deep cleaning required for the suite or bathroom. Biohazards Cleaning Charge: This type of cleaning is necessary when there is a risk of exposure to infectious agents, such as blood-borne pathogens, bacteria, viruses, or other hazardous materials resulting in a cleaning fee of $75/hour. Avoid Violation Charges: No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Evidence of smoking inside the suite will result in a fine of $250. No Open Flames: The use of candles, incense, or any open flames is not permitted in the suite or the common areas. No Parties: Parties and events are not allowed in the suite or the common areas. Any violation of this rule will result in an immediate eviction and a fine of $500. No Pets: No pets are allowed in the suite or the common areas, except for service animals with proper documentation. Any violation of this rule will result in a fine of $250. Nothing Illegal: This is a drug-free home therefore, a clean drug test is mandatory to enter. No illegal substances or activities are allowed on the property. Any violation of this rule will result in an immediate eviction and a fine of $1000. No Altercations: If any guest becomes violent (screaming, yelling, fighting etc) or starts any other type of altercation such as cursing at any guest/host in the home, you will be escorted off the property for the safety of all guests in the home. No refunds apply. A fine of $500 will be applied. Weapon-Free Home: No weapons or firearms are allowed on the property. Any violation of this rule will result in an immediate eviction and a fine of $1000. Miscellaneous: Children: Children must be supervised and accompanied by adults at all times. No Refunds: Reservations are not eligible for refunds. Smile! You're On Camera! (Shared Homes Only) Video surveillance records 24/7 in common areas and outside the home due to the room by room rentals we sometimes host. They are not in rooms or bathrooms.
