    For the fall semester, I have a furnished room available ($1,250/mos.) in a clean, comfortable, and attractive home with 1-2 other people. Nice space, peaceful, and easily accessible location situated in the sunbelt half-way between Monterey and South Salinas. Less than 15-minute drive to the beach, 10 minutes to downtown Monterey, and 10 minutes to Historical South Salinas. Large lot with lots of places outdoors to relax and enjoy nature, on the patio/garden, in the hammock, or around the fire pit. One friendly indoor-outdoor cat. This is a month-to-month rental available August through mid-December. The room has a private hallway with a bathroom that is usually private unless a guest visits. There is direct access to a shared kitchen and laundry room. First and last month rent and security deposit is required at move-in. 30-day advance notice required to end lease. Utilities are $100/mos. No smoking. No pets. Renter is responsible for cleaning and maintaining own room(s) and bathroom and cleaning up after themself in the kitchen and laundry room.
