Hello ladies! I have a room for rent in my 3 bed 3 bath (two level) condo. You would be living with me, Makayla and my very cuddly cat! We are looking for another woman to fill the space, someone to contribute in creating a peaceful and loving home with us. Our current roommate is moving out to start a new chapter with her boyfriend. We are sad to see her go but also excited for her at the same time. About us: We are both working professionals, we like to wind down in our own space most of the time, but we also enjoy socializing and forming connections. We tend to live quietly in our space more often than not and usually go to bed at a decent hour. We also have a weekly chore chart to keep the space looking clean! Me: I am a dancer and nature lover. I find joy in cooking from scratch and making healthy meals. Sometimes I'll have the occasional glass of wine. I am passionate about health in all aspects (mind, body, and spirit). I meditate frequently and I love learning about the quantum field. I also value using non toxic cleaning products in the home. I am 32 years old, and I work in healthcare 9-5. I am often busy in the evenings doing my hobbies after work. Makayla: "I'm 24 and work as a special education teacher. I'm off for the summer but working on my masters degree. I love reading and music. I have also started my journey into pottery. I can be a bit of a homebody, but also love going out with friends." Logistics of the space: This is a three bedroom three bathroom condo (top unit) with two floors, 1680 square feet. It is very spacious, vaulted ceilings, big windows to let in natural light, and it has a balcony. Your bathroom is next to your room in the main hall, this is your own private bathroom aside from guests using it occasionally (which is usually few and far between). You will also have a designated covered parking spot. Amenities: Clubhouse, pool, tennis court, volleyball court and basketball court. There is extra storage for outdoor gear as well. Location: Sandy. Approximately 15 minute drive to Big Cottonwood Canyon, approximately 20/25 minute drive to downtown. 5 minute drive to the freeway, Trader Joe's and Target. Fees and Lease: Monthly rent is $700. Monthly utilities (including google fiber) are usually around $80. Deposit is $700 (fully refundable). Central A/C and central heating is in the home as well. The lease is 6 months initially, and after that it will automatically transition to a month to month agreement. I'd love to have a long term roommate, but also understand that life can be unpredictable, month to month is to simply provide flexibility for that.
