Comfortable and cozy, with a split-level floor plan and open beam pine ceilings. The cottage is separate from the main house on the property, where it is quiet and set in a beautiful country garden. The bright and airy, lower level kitchen, has a gas range & oven, medium sized refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer combo, dining area, with plenty of storage space. A few steps up is the upper level, where the bedroom and sitting area are located with a smart TV and high speed internet. Storage space is limited. We (owners since 1988) live in the front house on the acre property. We are a retired couple and enjoy quiet music, cooking, gardening and painting. There is one off street parking spot. We are looking for 1 or 2 mature, quiet, responsible people to enjoy the studio. We have been renting since 2009 and have been fortunate to have had wonderful people as renters. Ideally, we are looking for a long term renter. We cannot accept pets (animals are already present on the property) and there is no tobacco smoking on the property. The studio will be available on January 1, 2026. The rent is $2400/mo and utilities (gas, electric, water/sewer and garbage, yard maintenance, wifi & smart TV) are included. Composting/worm farming/and a no pesticides/herbicides policy has been in place since we moved here.
