Views or Tacoma sparkle at night and light surrounds you during the day. You will find a welcoming space that encompasses you with warm, cozy, light. Your apartment sits a top of the water. The tide comes in under the house that sits on pilings. Nature abounds: eagles soar, salmon splash, minnows sparkle in the water....seals, sea lions, sea otters, hummingbirds, and more forces of nature visit this retreat daily! This unit is one of two units of the home. There is a lot of privacy and one person lives on the other, totally separated space. This person works a lot and is quiet and enters and leaves through a different, private door. Modern touches include original bolts. metals finishings, and exposed wood beams. Reclaimed/refinished/handcrafted finishes include large,original wooden beams. A refurbished, crystal sliding door (from the Columbia Tower Library) was hand designed by a mastercrafstman/artist. The bathroom has a bathtub & shower. It also has cozy heated, textured, stone floors. It was designed with movement and nature in mind, as you will notice with flowing details, and natural, light feel...similar to that of the motion of salmon in water. Location is a few minutes south of Browns Point and approx 11 minutes to downtown Tacoma. Pets considered on a case by case basis. Non-smoking property (nicotine products are not negotiable).
