Cabin construction was started in late 2017. Lot has a D.E.C. approved septic system and a well. Cabin is off grid, but wired to plug into a 30 amp 110 generator. Well is around 80 feet deep, so a 110 pump works fine. 1.5 stories with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Cabin currently needs flooring and trim. A buddy who was helping me with the cabin was tragically killed in car accident, and I have not had the time to finish it out. Foundation is techno posts. These are considered permanent and are guaranteed not to be pushed around by frost thawing and freezing. I like them much better than sono tubes. Cabin has the following features: -Cathedral ceiling in living room -True North Gasifier Wood Stove (purchased new in 2017) -Tongue and Groove Pine on most of the interior walls -Full bathtub, toilet, and shower -Kitchen cabinets installed -2x6 studded exterior walls -Propane water heater -3 Bedrooms, with a closet in each one, with a spacious additional storage closet in the hallway. -T1-11 siding -All new windows and doors (no collecting things at the dump for this project) Driveway has solid stone base. It will not turn to mud in the spring thaw. Cabin is very secluded, located about 8 miles from the town of Anchor Point, Alaska. You can drive right to the cabin on gravel roads, no 4x4 needed (unless from snow in the winter). About a 40 minute drive from Homer, and and approximately 20 minutes from Ninilchik. Fairly close to the Anchor River, Deep Creek, and other fishing hotspots. I live close to the cabin and will be available to show it to interested parties on short notice. Actual acreage is 9.75, (zillow made me enter a round number) with drive way right away it equals 10 acres. Title is free and clear. Would be great for someone looking for a cabin that they could finish out to their personal tastes.
