The bedroom downstairs is currently used as a home office with a VARIDESK standup desk. 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms, living room, laundry room, full bathroom. The master bedroom has a California King with a large walk-in closet and built-in bookshelves. The 2nd bedroom has a double/full bed, a desk (great kid's room) and two closets. The 3rd bedroom has a VARIDESK standup desk and is currently used as a home office. The laundry room also has a single bed. We renovated an outbuilding into a beautiful little cabin/casita. It has a queen bed, single bed and a wood stove. It's great for guests or teenagers. There is no plumbing in the cabin. We have a large treehouse high in the treetops. For full transparency, this is the first time we are renting our home. We have lived here for 10 years and have focused on major home maintenance such as new windows for energy efficiency, renovating bathroom, new chimney, new septic tank and building the cabin. Our house is not perfect! The hot tub has been a little glitchy and we do not use it regularly. The best characteristic of our home is the nature we are surrounded in and our community. We have Douglas fir, Japanese maple, cedar, magnolia, wisteria, grapes, roses, peonies, rhododendron, sage, mint, oregano, fennel, parsley, orchids, kale, apples, plums, blueberries, cherries, and strawberries (and more!). Our property joins Frog Holler which is an extensive network of trails and forests: the largest working forests on south Vashon Island, 112 acres. We love biking, running, walking and raising our kid in this magical forest. In the summer, we are a 5-minute drive to Burton for swimming and sunbathing. Closest amenities are 5 minutes away. Home is part of a Home Owner's Association which simply means we all collectively pay to maintain roads and well water. We also have a community building 5 minute-walk from the house that can be used for events. It has a pool table. We share this building with 13 other homes. We have lived here for 10 years and our neighbors are wonderful. Renter pays for internet and heating/electricity and garbage and recycling. Heating/electricity is combined into one bill monthly and ranges from $200-350 depending on usage and season. We chop wood Nov-March for Russian fireplace which is radiant heat in downstairs. We use baseboard heating for upstairs. Internet is not high speed due to forests. We use T-Mobile. Starlink may be better service. We cannot run two ZOOM calls at one time.
