Both the main house and the rental unit use net-metering photovoltaic panels for electricity and passive solar for hot water. Organic fertilizers/plant food, pesticides/herbicides are used exclusively (note: this area of Wailuku is designated as a protected aquifer; therefore, we ask residents to comply with restrictions to keep from polluting the ground water.)
