Affordable space on four acres in the mountains west of Boulder, minutes away from the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. We are located 16 miles up Left Hand Canyon Rd. Your commute to North Boulder will be approximately 35 mins (19 miles total). We are also located 30 minutes from Eldora Ski Resort. We have a 300 sq ft walk out studio available for rent. We are located 35 minutes west of the City of Boulder at 9,250 ft of elevation. The space features a sleeping loft big enough for a queen size foam and a small table, full kitchen, shower tiled in glass, beautiful Jotul propane heating stove & earthen/adobe floors. The space uses regular 110V electricity. We are looking to rent the space to ONE person with a full time job/commitment. The space is unfortunately not designed for couples or part time occupancy of a second individual. Given our septic limitations, we are strict about the one person occupancy limits. The studio works great for a fully employed individual/graduate student looking for a peaceful space to come after work. We have also had retired individuals live in the space. Given previous experience, we are renting the space to a person who has no animal companions. The setting is really clean, quiet & super safe. The sky at night is spectacular. We are looking for an individual who leads a healthy lifestyle and is looking for a peaceful place outside of town. If your lifestyle includes hanging out smoking cannabis all day, big parties, any use of illegal substances or any tobacco smoking, our setup is not the right match. We are regular people who work hard, have regular jobs and have commitment towards goals. We have 14 years of experience in the business of renting spaces to housemates and tenants. As such, we run a comprehensive background and income verification check through TransUnion. We look for clean background checks, good credit, good employment history and no record of evictions. Given that we built the studio ourselves, we very much care for it so we look for people who can do the same. The space works great for people who know what they are doing, are attentive to detail, are responsible and generally speaking have experience living in winter conditions. Owner pays for water. Renter pays for propane heat & electricity. No smoking. No pets. Space available for one individual. No part time cohabitation.
