Blodgett Lake is also a FAA rated seaplane base The Lake is a little short of a mile long with peaceful and clear water and a power restriction on all motorized boats (limited to 15hp). It's home to many birds and fish (mostly rainbow trout) and in the fall (sept 1 - Oct) salmon will spawn along the shorelines.
