This lovely home is located just a short 2 minute stroll to the private beach community of Chapman Beach in Westbrook CT (Near Old Saybrook line). This FULLY Furnished cozy year round beach home has three bedrooms - 2 queen beds, one of which is a memory foam mattress,a Sleep Number mattress and 1 full sized bed in the other. The M/Bdrm has a flat screened tv. Mattresses are encased in zippered covers. The living room has a comfy couch, chairs, and a large flat screen Smart t.v. The kitchen is well-equipped with every gadget you could need and a generous assortment of pots, pans and bake ware. Located off the kitchen is a cheery 3 season porch. Comfy furniture make this the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or relax with friends for coffee and conversation. The grassy back yard is spacious and inviting and has a picnic table, outdoor seating and a gas grill. There is hot and cold running water in the spacious outside shower. The neighborhood is perfect for leisurely afternoon walks and bike riding. A long stretch of private sandy beach is just a short 2 minute stroll away. Easy access to I-95 and Rte 9, Westbrook and Old Saybrook Train Stations, Saybrook Center Boutiques and "The Kate", Boston Post Road shops and a variety of Ethnic Restaurants, Westbook and Clinton Shopping Outlets and The Casinos Watch Hill, Rhode Island and it's infamous oldest running Carousel are just a 45 minute drive away. The area is quiet and calming yet quickly accessible to many restaurants and entertainment. First I would like to thank Janet for the opportunity to rent this super cozy place. The cottage is well stocked with all things needed to make you feel right at home. It's extremely clean, updated, well furnished and most of all comfortable beyond belief. The yard is well maintained and a great place to just chill. The outdoor shower and bbq grill are great added bonuses. 100% would recommend a stay at this home. My only regret is I have to leave, thank you again, Janet. Peter L. This is a cozy, bright, and well-appointed house. The neighborhood is quiet (but not desolate) and close to every type of shop, store, or restaurant. The owner is very responsive and respectful. This beach house is located in a family friendly neighborhood. The home is clean, updated and move in ready. A large backyard and a stone's throw from the beach, Chapman Beach has it all. K. Academic Renter 2020, 2021 Stay Aug.1 thru 31, 2020. 2021, 2022 This 3-bedroom cottage is adorable and roomy. The furnishings are perfect for a cottage and the decorations are beach themed. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is well-ventilated with many windows to catch the sea breeze. Each room has a ceiling fan which will also keep you comfortable and cool. There is also a/c. There is outdoor seating in both the front and back yards and an inviting enclosed porch which is perfect for a rainy day. There are many free movies available on the T.V. and, of course, there is Wi-Fi. Although, quite honestly, this is the perfect cottage to unplug and totally relax. There are so many beach communities nearby where you can just walk or bike to from the cottage and enjoy the views of the sound. My family enjoyed our one-month stay, especially as the cottage is such a short walk to beach.
