Creating Your Lender Profile

Creating an individual lender profile is simple and should only take a few moments by following the steps below. If you’re setting up a company profile, click here instead for additional details:  https://www.zillow.com/lender-resources/zillow-group-company-profile/

  1. Click “Join” or “Sign up here”
  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password. Check “I am a landlord or industry professional.”
  3. Select Mortgage Lender from the Professional Information drop-down and then click “Submit.” You’ll be redirected to a page where you’ll need to enter your NMLS ID to continue. Once you enter your ID, your name will automate below. Click the Continue button.  If the name is incorrect or you see an error message indicating that your NMLS ID is already in use, please send us an email to mortgagesupport@zillowgroup.com for further assistance.
  4. In the Edit Your Profile section, you’ll be able to update your name, and add a headshot as well as additional details about yourself. The About section requires a minimum of 100 characters to move forward to the next section of editing your profile. The next lesson will provide some suggestions on how to create a competitive edge in your profile.

  5. After clicking the “Save & continue” button, you will move on to the section where you can add your contact information, such as phone number and website URL.
  6. Finally, the last section will confirm your office location information. The drop-down menu will automatically have the office location information as it appears in the NMLS Consumer Access pages. If you recently moved offices or companies, it may take 24-48 hours for the updates in the NMLS to push to your Zillow profile.
