How Connect Works

Many lenders are familiar with online advertising and the typical lead generation model: a lead service generates consumer interest, captures consumers’ contact information and sends that information over to a lender for a follow-up. In many cases, those leads aren’t ready to talk, or if they are, they aren’t as interested in buying as they originally though. That’s not a good experience. We are changing that with Connect.

How it works:

  1. A consumer on Zillow or Trulia seeking mortgage information answers a series of questions relating to their unique situation and requests for a lender to follow-up to learn more about getting pre-approved.
  2. Depending on what the consumer is looking for, Zillow Group immediately sends their contact information to a participating lender on Connect.
  3. The lender receives an email and text alert notifying them of the new opportunity, and if they have their contact relationship manager (CRM) tool set up within their account, the contact details will also be pushed into that system.
  4. When the lender receives the email and text alerts, they can immediately follow-up to respond to the consumer’s request for more information.
