Your Zillow Premier Agent ROI report shows the true value of what you’re getting from your Zillow Premier Agent investment. You can use it to track your ROI and view past sales sourced from Zillow Premier Agent — at your desk or on the go.

Optimize future investments by understanding past ones
We want you to have the knowledge and confidence to invest with us. With this report you’ll have the ability to know:
- Your current commission income after splits
- Your overall return on your Zillow Premier Agent investment
- Your profit earned after splits and expenditures
- How well your ZIP codes are working for you
Here’s how to access your report from different platforms:
- In the Zillow Premier Agent app on desktop, click Reports in the navigation and select Zillow Premier Agent ROI.
- In the Zillow Premier Agent iOS app, tap More in the navigation bar and select Zillow Premier Agent ROI.
- In the Zillow Premier Agent Android app, tap on the menu and select Zillow Premier Agent ROI.

Improve your report’s accuracy
We use all the relevant data available to us, plus industry averages, to calculate the output of your report. You can help improve its accuracy by adding any missing transaction data and customizing calculation inputs such as gross commission and splits, if they’re different for your business.
Make sure all past sales and Zillow Premier Agent clients are added
Where possible, we match transactions with the corresponding client or connection. You’ll see estimated results when we use past sales with no matched clients, so to show actual ROI on your Zillow Premier Agent investment, add missing client matches by following these steps.
To add past sales:
- Click your image in the top right of the screen to open the menu, then click Past sales.
- For sales we’ve matched to your profile that are pending your confirmation, click the Add sale text link in their row to move them to your sales history.
- For any missing sales, click the Add sale button in the top right, then follow the instructions.
Next, for each of the past sales you want added to your Zillow Premier Agent ROI report, you’ll need to add any missing Zillow Premier Agent client information:
- Click the three dots in the Actions column for any properties you’d like to associate with a Zillow Premier Agent client.
- From the options, select Edit sale.
- Click Add info under the Client column for the property.
- In the next screen, you’ll be given the option to click a button for whether you sourced this client through Zillow Premier Agent. Click Yes or No accordingly. Note that only clients sourced through Zillow Premier Agent will be added to your report.
- Use the Search Zillow Premier Agent contacts search bar to find the client.
After associating your past sales with Zillow Premier Agent clients, your ROI calculations will automatically update in your report, and the transaction will show up under the Zillow Premier Agent sales tab for the year that the contact was assigned. Please note, it may take up to 92 hours for updates to appear.

Customize your Zillow Premier Agent ROI report with your own commission split — and other inputs
Many of the default inputs we use for calculations can be customized if needed to more closely match your business:
- Click the Customize button at the top right of the report.
- You’ll then be able to change your default conversion rate, average sale price and commission inputs.

Key terms in your report
- Time frame: The Zillow Premier Agent ROI report shows leads and connections delivered during the time frame selected. For example, the 2020 report will only show transactions from the leads and connections you received in 2020, regardless of the year the transaction closed.
- Estimates and actuals: We provide both estimated and actual commission income, ROI and profit values. Estimates appear when we don’t have enough clients added to past sales. See how to add missing client data above.
- Commission income: Income from commission fees. This is not gross commission income since it’s after your split.
Calculation method:
We use the following default inputs. You can customize them. See how above.- Conversion rate, 4 percent
- Gross commission, 5 percent
- Broker/team split, 50 percent

- ROI (return on investment): A performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of your Zillow Premier Agent investment. The benefit (or return) of an investment is divided by its cost. The result is often expressed as a ratio but can also be a percentage. Example: “You made at least $5.70 for every $1 you invested with Zillow Premier Agent.”

Frequently asked questions
How do I know my report is accurate?
We use public records, MLS feeds and sales in your Zillow Premier Agent profile to intelligently match the leads or connections you’ve received with sales you’ve closed. However, since we begin with certain assumptions, your initial report is just a starting point. To increase the accuracy of your Zillow Premier Agent ROI report:
- Make sure your profile’s past sales are up to date.
- Make sure you’ve added any Zillow Premier Agent clients to their corresponding past sale.
- Make sure your commission and broker/team split (if applicable) are customized.
What transactions from Zillow Premier Agent appear in my report?
- Transactions with leads or connections from Zillow, Trulia, Hotpads and Streeteasy.com
- For team leads, team transactions where the team lead paid for that lead or connection
I added a contact to one of my transactions on the Past Sales page. Why can’t I find it in the Zillow Premier Agent ROI report?
Check for your transaction under the year that you received the contact. If the contact was received before 2017, or if it was not sourced through Zillow Premier Agent, it will not be included in the report.
Why aren’t all of my past sales sourced from Zillow Premier Agent showing on the report?
Any past sales newly matched to a client will appear on the Zillow Premier Agent ROI report within 92 hours.
Why am I seeing an estimate?
- We provide estimates when we have too few clients matched to the transactions you’ve closed. Add all of your Zillow Premier Agent clients to past sales to see actuals.
- To make sure your estimate is accurate, ensure your commission, broker/team split (if applicable), average property price and conversion rate are customized.
What’s the “Sourced Date” in the Zillow Premier Agent Sales section of the report?
This is the date we first delivered that Zillow Premier Agent connection.
I received a discount last month; will that be reflected in the report?
The report is based on a Zillow Premier Agent's spend. Special products, deferred billing and discounts won't be incorporated.
Are lender contributions included in my investment?
Your ROI in this report is based on your Zillow Premier Agent investments only — the report does not include lender contributions.
What will Zillow do with this data?
