Your Enhanced Markets Roadmap: Personalized Payment Estimates & More

Since my last Enhanced Markets update, it’s been encouraging to see how Zillow’s 2024 vision has stayed consistent. Our main goal is still to help you deliver great service to your clients. And if we both succeed, then you’ll have a winning approach no matter how the industry changes. While macro changes are out of everyone’s control, we’re continuously developing new tools that give you more control in how you help clients and manage your workload.

Here’s a preview of what we’re exploring through the next quarter.

Showing clients what they can afford

Giving buyers more insights into what they can afford not only empowers them to make sound decisions, it also helps take the burden of educating them off you.

To give your clients a clear perspective of their budget, we’re rolling out two new features around purchasing power. The first provides buyers with a real-time estimate of how much they can afford based on their financial situation. The second lists a personalized monthly payment estimate tailored to a specific property they’re interested in. Clients will be able to access the info simply by entering a few basic details. 

Streamlining collaboration 

Zillow acquired Follow Up Boss because it’s the backbone of great customer service for many agents. To ensure that customer service happens efficiently, it’s important for Follow Up Boss to be well integrated not only with key Zillow experiences but also your full technology stack.

We’re always developing more ways for you to get value out of Zillow Home Loans. For example, Zillow Home Loans is integrating with Follow Up Boss to make financing information more visible and actionable so you can easily personalize client communications. That integration also includes a new Zillow Home Loans embedded app that allows partner agents to transfer clients directly from Follow Up Boss. Additionally, we’re exploring more paths for you to communicate with loan officers in the Premier Agent app and third-party CRMs like Follow Up Boss through features like shared notes.

Enhancing connection planning and routing

We’ve heard from partners that there’s often a large range of capacity and experience on a given team. We’re introducing new tools to help you address this and plan your business at a more granular level each month. Our joint interest is to send more connections to those agents performing well, and open up bandwidth for lower-performers to focus on their existing pipeline.

We’re making it possible to see performance metrics for each of your agent team members across one unified report. You’ll then be able to plan tailored connection targets for each agent — distributing and pacing connections based on a plan you set with your Growth Advisor. 

Soon, you’ll also be able to give team members the power to temporarily pause incoming lead flow for up to 24 hours. All of this is designed to help your team maximize their strengths with a data-driven approach.
