Your Enhanced Markets Roadmap: More Insights, Coverage, and Time Saved

I always come back from Unlock, our annual conference for agents, full of ideas. The chance to talk face to face with some of you is invaluable, letting me take stock of common questions and bring feedback back to the team. 

Based on what I heard in Vegas, it seems like we’ve made great progress on the integrated home buying experience. And by “we,” I don’t just mean Zillow. Your partnership and input helped spark recent launches from agent leaderboards to the Touring Agreement to Zillow Home Loans transfers taking place seamlessly in Follow Up Boss. 

As 2025 approaches, we’re doubling down on that integrated experience so you can help more clients, get more time back, and close more transactions. Here’s a look at what’s coming soon.

Seeing more actionable data

We want agents to be able to reach out to each buyer and seller at the right time, so we’re adding more data-driven insights and predictive signals that supercharge your client understanding. Zillow is in a unique position to harness data from the more than 230 million users who visit the site each month, and we’ve heard from Growth Advisors that our new Client Insight Tools can significantly boost agent conversion rates. By giving agents the info they need to better understand who to focus on, when to reach out, and how to personalize their approach, they can tailor outreach in a way like never before.

Performance management is another way we’re using data to improve workflows for agents and teams. Individual agents get more visibility into their performance metrics, helping them understand how to receive more high-quality leads. Meanwhile, team leaders get a comprehensive view of agent performance, enabling them to make informed decisions about lead distribution and support. Ultimately, this data can serve as an incentive for agents to improve their metrics and qualify for a higher tier next month.

Fixing coverage gaps

If your team ever has coverage gaps, how much potential business are you missing out on? Zillow often identifies areas or ZIP codes where we see high customer demand but not enough partner coverage. We also have a lot of great teams and agents that want to grow and serve more customers. Now we’re working on ways to quickly match those teams and agents with those growth areas. 

Be on the lookout for a new page in the Premier Agent app that includes a ZIP Code Coverage report and a map visualization. With this map, savvy team leaders will never miss another opportunity for a new client. It’ll help them see coverage density in a new perspective and drill down into specific ZIP codes. 

Saving time on complex tasks

Whether you’re a team leader or an individual agent, we know you have a ton on your plate. Some of that responsibility includes complex, repetitive tasks that take you away from helping clients. We’re always searching for ways to take those tasks off your shoulders so you can better serve your clients. 

For example, we’re working on a customizable pre-approval letter that allows agents to download and edit directly without assistance from a loan officer. This is all in the service of empowering agents, who will be able to show off their expertise, making timely adjustments to pre-approval letters and maximizing a buyer’s chances of winning the home. 

Additionally, we’re more deeply integrating financing status visibility into Follow Up Boss so agents can see real-time updates in their existing workflows. Along with the efficiency this brings, it means agents can basically run their business right in Follow Up Boss where they have easy access to client outreach, workflows, Smart Lists, and more all from Follow Up Boss. This is a huge step forward that should allow for better client management and support.

All this development tells a story: We’re investing heavily in and with our best partners. Together, we can provide the best buyer and seller experiences.
