Soft Credit Pull for Pre-Approvals
We now offer soft credit pulls for pre-approvals, which won’t impact your clients’ credit scores.
Pre-approvals are good for 90 days and can be continuously renewed.
We know hard credit pulls can create unnecessary stress for homebuyers, and even pressure some to stop their home search altogether. So this gives your clients an easy way to take the next step in their financing journey.
Agent Dashboard Enhancements
On March 20, we’re updating the Zillow Home Loans agent dashboard to make it easier for you to access critical information about your client’s financing, including status and pre-approval.
In addition to tracking your client’s financing status in the dashboard, you’ll also get an email and SMS notification when your client gets pre-approved.
This is designed to help you save time and move clients forward in their home search without missing a beat.
Coming Soon: Client Financing Status in the Premier Agent App
In the PA app, under the “Mortgages” tab, you will now be able to view your client’s financing status from when they’re under contract to when they receive a funded loan.
This builds on existing status visibility, when you could see how clients were progressing from the transfer stage through pre-approval.
This update gives you more insight into your client’s financing status and makes sure you’re informed about their progress.
Downloadable Pre-Approval Letter
From the Zillow Home Loans agent dashboard, you will soon be able to access a downloadable version of your client’s pre-approval letter starting March 20.
The pre-approval letter marks a major step in financial preparedness on the road to purchasing a home and unlocks your clients’ ability to make offers.
This update also will help you better understand a client’s budget so you can narrow down the search to properties within their price range.
Connections
Agent Self-Pause (Atlanta and Charlotte)
We’re exploring a new feature that enables agent team members to temporarily pause their incoming connection calls (up to 24 hours) without adding more tasks to their team lead’s to-do list.
Given all the demands of your job, we developed this solution so you can balance connecting with new clients and being fully present during showings and meetings with your existing clients.
We’re excited to pilot this feature in Atlanta and Charlotte and hope to expand to more markets in the coming months.

Buyer Activity Insights Contact Tags
Two new contact tags for Buyer Activity Insights are now available in both the Premier Agent App and Follow Up Boss.
The “Re-engaged buyer” tag shows contacts who have begun their home search with Zillow again after a hiatus.
The “Specific home interest” tag shows contacts who viewed a property’s details page on Zillow's site 10 or more times within a 7-day period.
