Meet the New Leader of Premier Agent

While I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of you during my six-year tenure at Zillow and have talked with many of you at recent Zillow-hosted events, for those who don’t yet know me, I’m writing to introduce myself: I’m Susan Daimler, and I am the new leader of the Premier Agent business.

“Wait, where is Greg Schwartz?” you might ask with concern.

Not to worry – Greg is very much still at Zillow Group and still deeply involved in the Premier Agent business.

A couple of months ago, he realized his days had become much busier and he needed someone fully dedicated to all of you, our incredibly important business partners.

That someone is me.

Working with agents and building real estate technology has been my life for over a decade. It started with Buyfolio – a technology platform some of you may remember (hopefully as lovingly as I do) – that my husband and I started and later sold to Zillow. Since then, I’ve been running our portfolio of hyper-local brands in NYC, most notably StreetEasy.

In this new role, your success is my priority. I’m deeply committed to making sure we listen to you, we build the tools you need, and at times, challenge you.

To that end, I hope you saw the announcements we made recently about PA Forward. We’re having great success connecting buyers who want to talk to an agent directly to you. And now we’ll also send the leads we weren’t able to validate directly to your inbox, so you can nurture them on your own.

We’re bringing back waitlists, too. This will ensure Premier Agents who have invested in high-demand ZIP codes get a first crack at inventory when it becomes available.  

These changes are based on your feedback and our commitment to making PA work for both the buyers who come to our sites and you, the agents they want to connect with.  

I’m certain that together we can achieve great things.

More about Susan Daimler, Senior Vice President, Premier Agent

As senior vice president, Susan oversees the strategy, sales and operations of Zillow Group’s Premier Agent and Premier Broker business. In 2015, Inman named Susan among the 33 people changing the real estate industry. Susan previously served as SVP and GM of Zillow Group’s NYC brand, StreetEasy.

Susan joined Zillow in October 2012 after the company’s acquisition of Buyfolio, a co-shopping platform for real estate agents and their homebuyers, which she co-founded in 2009 (she came up with the idea while shopping for an apartment in NYC). Prior to Buyfolio, Susan co-founded the award-winning travel website SeatGuru, which was acquired by Expedia in 2007. Before SeatGuru, Susan worked in marketing and client management.

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and currently sits on their Board of Trustees.
