2020 was a pivotal year for Zillow Premier Agent product developments. With the expectations of buyers and sellers continuing to evolve, we set our focus on remote touring, connecting you with buyers and resources for staying informed during an unpredictable year.

Not-to-miss product developments

All about tours

  • Zillow 3D Home® tour notices

    When a tour connection comes in, you’ll get a notification if that listing has an existing Zillow 3D Home tour or video walkthrough, making it easier to share. We hope this helps you make a great first impression with a new connection.
  • A virtual option

    Prospective buyers can also request a video chat if they are not able to meet in person. Learn more about tour connections and how they work.

  • Tours go nationwide

    This year, tour connections rolled out nationwide — agents in every state can now receive connections with home shoppers who are interested in touring a property.

Cool new things you can do in the app

  • Seamless connections 

    To streamline Zillow Premier Agents’ connection experience, we’re rolling out a more efficient way to connect you with buyers through the app: seamless connections. Receiving connections through the app makes it easier to access information about buyers and the property they’re interested in so you can make the most of that first conversation. (Note: Seamless connections may not yet be available in your area.)

  • In-app appointment tracker and calendar sync

    We know your days are busy, so to help you stay on top of your schedule, this app update keeps track of your connection’s status, appointment date and time and allows you to quickly add the meeting to your calendar. Answer "Yes" to “Did you set an appointment?” after a connection call to start the sync.

Buyer activity insights and a new home screen

Buyer activity insights help you keep up easily with your clients who are looking at listings, and this year, insights have been rolled out to all Zillow Premier Agents. You’ll get a push notification and daily activity email when buyers with whom you have an active My Agent relationship...

  • Begin searching after a period of being inactive
  • Repeatedly view the same property
  • Expand their search to a new market or ZIP code

Through these notifications, you get insight into what your clients really want so that you may follow up, deepen relationships and better prepare for questions they may ask.

To review push notifications you may have missed, you can tap Insights in the mobile app to access these insights anytime, even if push notifications are turned off on your phone.
