I went to this investment property to take photos to help remove mortgage insurance. I do many evaluations to remove MI and pride myself on doing a good job. I do the best for everyone and I explain that to property owners. I also tell them that if there is an issue we will work to correct it. This person was not happy with the evaluation of her property and instead of contacting her mortgage company to correct the issue, she chose to wait a year and put a negative review on Zillow including saying that I discriminated against her. I do these evaluations for many people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. I do the best that I can for everyone. I have never been accused of discrimination by anyone. She also gave me one star for negotiation skills. I have no idea what she thought I was negotiating. There is no need for negotiation in evaluating a property. I was also given one star for process expertise. I have no idea what this means to the reviewer. I have strict guidelines to follow and I followed them. If I did not use comps that she wanted me to use, it is because my search in her neighborhood did not reveal them. This could happen for many reasons, including listing agents using the wrong categories when listing a property. Occasionally, evaluations are returned to me for corrections. This evaluation was not returned. It was accepted by the company that sent me the order. I am sorry she was not happy with her evaluation but she needs to move on. According to her review, she has had her mortgage insurance removed. Why would she let this fester and look for a way to hurt me so long after the incident?
