Raised in a rural farming community southeast of Van Buren, Arkansas, I developed an interest in buildings in early childhood. After earning a B.A. degree in Art at UCA, I opened a retail store in my hometown. Moving to Russellville, Arkansas in 1977 proved to be a wise choice.
