I moved to the Roanoke Valley eleven years ago and decided I never want to leave.  What's not to love? The mountains are a perfect backdrop to this bustling community. People are friendly; schools are great, and there is an abundance of indoor and outdoor activities to please just about everyone.  I've raised three children here, and I couldn't think of a better place.
