I regret these clients had these feelings. Until this, I didn’t know there were problems, or that they had responded to me. I now searched email, and found two short notes that my system appended to the end of an email I sent to them. They had seen other homes. When I didn’t think they responded, I assumed they had used another agent. Normally, I would have called to ask if I could offer anything. As an explanation, and certainly not an excuse, during this time, I was almost exclusively working through a life threatening medical condition my son was facing. If clients didn’t call me, I generally didn’t make calls. I tried to be available when needed. I now understand their frustration. I wish we had talked together. My priorities were focused on my son’s medical condition above all else. I have apologized that I wasn’t able to meet their needs during this difficult time. I am very pleased that they found the home they were seeking.
