Oshiana Brown contacted me close to midnight on a Saturday night. I was asleep when she called. I was not rude, but I was a little bit confused and not fully awake. I asked her the same questions I ask all rental clients, as is required by law. I did not know her name until after the fact, nor did anything in our conversation indicate that she was a member of any group that one might be prejudiced against. I take my responsibilities under the Fair Housing Act very seriously, and I would never discriminate against anyone. I am sorry that Oshiana misunderstood the situation, and I take extreme offense to this review.
