Pete is a fifth-generation Wyoming native born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He grew up working on the family’s ranch outside of Woods Landing where he learned the ropes for both running cattle and preserving land. He attended the University of Wyoming earning a BS in Physiology while also high jumping for UW’s track and field team.
