Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am truly sorry to hear about your disappointment with the condition of your new home upon taking possession. When your husband contacted me late in the evening, expressing how much your family loved the house and requesting my representation, I was determined to help you secure this home. Knowing about your extensive search, having seen over 50 homes, I understood how important this home was to your family. Despite the multiple offers, I was thrilled to assist your husband in writing a successful offer that the sellers accepted. During the escrow process, we faced several challenges, including lack of timely communication, delays with contingency removal. The situation was further complicated by your planned travel out of the country that we did not receive sufficient notice, which required last-minute adjustments from all parties involved, including myself, escrow, and your loan officer. Unfortunately, these delays resulted in a 7-day extension of the escrow period. I am grateful for the sellers’ patience, generosity and flexibility, especially considering their own tight timeline as they prepared for Permanent Change of Station to another state with their five children. They went above and beyond by addressing inspection issues and providing additional credit concessions, despite California being a "Sold As Is" state. On the day of delivery of keys, I was alerted to the condition of the home and the trash left on the property. I apologized for the condition and inconvenience, and I immediately took action, which included my husband and I spending several hours cleaning the house ourselves. Additionally, I hired a professional cleaning crew who worked diligently to remove the trash and clean the property. I deeply regret that our efforts did not meet your expectations. I understand how frustrating and disappointing this situation must have been for you. Regarding the flea issue, it was not present during the inspection, and I suspect the house being vacant for nearly three weeks may have contributed to this problem. Your feedback is invaluable and will be used to improve my services, ensuring a smoother and more satisfactory experience for future clients.
