It's truly disappointing in this industry how much Property Managers are criticized and face so much blame behind a one sided story. For most clients whom we have and currently serviced (which also have left honest reviews) are ACCOUNTABLE, HONEST AND TRANSPARENT. The relationship for the most part was acceptable working with both Lisa and Durvalle since 2020 UNTIL it wasn't. There has been PLENTY of times that our team was forced in the middle of these two and their disagreements as it relates to how their portfolio business was conducted. I am sure anyone can agree, that is a very uncomfortable position for anyone when conducting business. We have no interest in taking sides or double communicating when "partners/husband and wife" can not simply get along. We have seen some ugly sides of them both and this review shows. We were contacted for assistance with selling their portfolio as a result of the pending divorce which forces their business relationship to end. After wasting months in an effort to make these trash homes marketable, our team decided enough was enough. Neither party would communicate with one another, some of the homes literally had BROKEN BUSTED WINDOWS for an alleged "newly rehabbed home", they literally asked if we could just take a picture and post it for sale. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Our management team provided formal notice to both partners (after experiencing both unprofessional and chaotic correspondence attacking each other and our team) that all communication will be directed to their liaison (a neutral and unbiased party). In addition, we have decided to leverage their Owner Portal account for any requested documentation needed so our team can remain conflict free during their transition. Although a false claim was filed against our company (which was dismissed immediately for lack of validation), we STILL continued to try and help them with a pending eviction and the security of another asset nearby located in a very trouble neighborhood. We placed a trust worthy sitter in their home who cared for their home until the business relationship ended. YET, we were questioned for services covered within their contractual agreement (established in 2020 and demonstrated CONTINUOUSLY throughout the relationship). We have performed success evictions, completed maintenance/compliance work, navigated every troubled tenant in homes located in the WORST areas and now we are the scum of the earth???? It seemed as the relationship ended and the more distant we became, the more irate they (specially LISA) became. She literally begged me while intoxicated to please assist until a Tenant can be found or the property was sold. I say all this to say, if you are going to tell a story, please tell all sides including the fact that your properties NEVER met city compliance requirements and you have valid recorded reports stating to these facts. We hate to end relationships unhealthy and truly wish them both the best but please do not try and drag our name when you loved our work and service at the time is best SERVICED AND BENEFITED YOU! ALL THE BEST!!!!

Unfortunately, this property owner failed to comply with the quality and standard rental compliance rules in the City of Detroit. As a result, this client was FIRED. Regardless of the company I am representing, I hold ALL PROPERTY OWNERS accountable for the safety, functionality, and care of the rental property under our management. We will NEVER rent a property with a leaking roof, black mold present, and a property owner who cuts corners when properly addressing maintenance concerns. My team is known for compliance management, we will not keep an unproductive relationship with a client who fails to exercise the same integrity when it comes to providing safe and quality homes to potential residents.
