This review is libelous. First, there were only 5 applicants. Second, the non-refundable application fee was not $50. Third, the home was only 4 bedrooms. Lastly, the prospective tenants requested to withdraw their application after being approved and informed that they would be able to take occupancy, however due to uncontrollable rescheduling needs based on COVID-19 restrictions on the part of the vendors who were performing the TI's on the home, their move-in would have to be delayed. They did not want to continue to wait, and that was understood. They were refunded the holding deposit of $300 immediately. The quotes in this statement are completely inaccurate and are not actual quotes. One request for refund was received, and addressed with one of the tenant applicants. There was never a period of non-responsiveness, as that is not how business is conducted appropriately. On the contrary, I offered to assist them in finding a new place to lease that would be more in alignment with their timelines, and even referred them to a landlord closer to campus. Never have I been referred to as unethical, and never have I cheated anyone out of funds. Whether the property was to be sold had nothing to do with the tenancy, as investors routinely purchase homes and lease them immediately. This situation is invalid, and I am sorry that this person feels this way. It would have been advisable to contact me directly if there was dissatisfaction with the outcome, rather than to attempt to slander my public reputation months later. In my 20 years in providing excellent customer service, I have never received a negative review. And on the contrary, I have had great success in my business endeavors and have always had satisfied customers. I hope everything works out for this person and that they were able to solidify a place to lease. And I wish the best of luck to whom ever becomes their landlord.
